Property description
This exquisite cottage is filled with character features; from an original working Victorian fireplace, to the sash windows and lovely gingerbread trim on the front porch. As you enter, you find yourself in a long passageway with polished wooden floors. On either side are the two bedrooms, which both have Queen-size beds and views of the front porch and garden. These rooms share a bathroom. There is also a TV lounge with satellite channels, a DVD player and an iPod docking station. In cooler months you can light a fire in the original wood-burning fireplace and relax on the luxurious leather couch. French doors lead out onto a small enclosed courtyard. Leading off from the lounge is the open plan kitchen and dining area, with seating for four guests. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove. Outside, is a partially covered courtyard which has patio lounge furniture and a small splash pool. This is a great place to enjoy sunny days, enjoy a good book or have a drink with friends. Within a short drive from the cottage is Lion’s Head, popular with hikers, as well as the Table Mountain Cableway and over the hill are the popular beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. The area also has numerous restaurants and boutiques to visit.
