The house is fully modernised for every convenience. The massive living room is equipped with a 55” television, DSTV, Netflix and a Sonos system so you can enjoy your personal music collection with an easy-to-download app. An ultra fast fibre optic wi-fi network is available throughout the house. We also provide a mobile router for use with your own phone, to bring along on your travels out of the house, and helping avoid expensive overseas data charges. The heart of the home is a well-equipped, high-spec kitchen with everything you need to conjure up a feast if you don’t feel like exploring the local restaurants. There’s a large Siemens fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, as well as a Miele dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the adjoining scullery. With your comfort in mind, the house has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, providing heating in winter or cooling in summer. There’s an inviting pool for lazy summer days but with the severe water restrictions currently in place, we are obliged to conserve water and so we may not be able to top up the pool as often as we’d like. Also please note that the surround of the pool is tiled and therefore slippery when wet. This delightful home is well-suited to couples, families or business travellers. The entire house, garden and pool are for the exclusive use of our guests. It has a very good security system and is linked to an armed-response company. There is also secure off-street parking for 2 cars. Fresnaye is a residential neighbourhood, renowned for its wind-free living, French vibe and tree-lined avenues. If you’re energetic, you can take a 10-min stroll down the hill into Regent Road, Sea Point (but you may want to catch a taxi or Uber back up the hill!). Here you’ll find an eclectic buzz with several great restaurants, coffee shops and the Mojo market.
